Lautoka Police are questioning a man in relation to an alleged murder of a 43 year old woman in Lautoka over the weekend.
The victim was on her way to visit her sister when she was allegedly stabbed on the neck as she was entering her sister’s driveway.
Her sister and the family tried to revive her but she died at the scene.
It is alleged that her hand bag was also stolen.
According to Police a suspect is in police custody undergoing interrogation.
Police are awaiting the post mortem result.
