The Lautoka soccer team left for the Solomon Islands this morning in high spirits as they aim to win their opening O-League match over Marist FC in Honiara.
The players had only four days to recover after the 2-0 loss to Navua in the Courts Homecentres IDC final.
Association's acting president Krishna Chandra said most of the players will for the first time play at the Lawson Tama Stadium but his is confident of a victory tomorrow.
Lautoka plays Marist FC tomorrow at 4pm.
Meanwhile, in the opening Group A O-League match today Auckland City thrashed Tahiti's AS Manu Ura by 5-0.
