The Lautoka Hospital is faced with a major shortage in blood supply due to the increase in the number of emergencies being seen.
Doctor Josefa Bolaqace said the low supply has seen them asking for assistance from the public to come forward and donate.
Blood drives will be held at the Sugar City Mall from 8am to 3pm on Saturday. At the same time other drives will be held at Tavua Hospital and in Nadi.
