The Lautoka soccer team will now have to wait and hope that Ba does not achieve maximum points in its last two matches despite Blues registering a 5-0 win against Nadroga last night.

Lautoka's 5 goals came from Marika Madigi, Jone Vono Jnr, Alvin Avinesh and Kamal Hassan bagged two goals.

With the win, Lautoka now has 50 points and sit on top of the table.

However, Ba has 45 points and should the Men in Black win their remaining matches, they will win the National soccer league title.

In another match at TFL Stadium last night, it was the repeat of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants final, however Navua turned the tables around this time beating Rewa 1-0.

Navua's lone goal was scored by Solomon’s import Robert Laua.

Rewa had an excellent opportunity in the second half to equalize when the Delta Tigers were awarded a penalty.

However, Netani Doli's kick was saved by diving Navua goalkeeper, Ben Aminio.

Tampers also flew during the last quarter of the game as referee Rakesh Verman ordered Navua coach, Gurjeet Singh to remove himself from the reserve bench.

Singh had questioned the referee regarding an incident where a Rewa player was freely moving around the pitch with a water bottle while the match was being played.
