The Lautoka rugby team are bracing themselves for their toughest semifinal showdown against rivals, Nadi, at home this Saturday.

It has been made alot tougher for coach Vereti Verebula after top players Kelemedi Bola and John Stewart have left for contracts in New Zealand and Flying Fijians wing - Ropate Ratu has gone for a contract in France.

Verebula confirms that despite these boys leaving the team, he still has the core squad who has been winning in most of their games and will put up a good fight against the defending champions.

Lautoka have been undefeated in most of their pool games in the season until the 11th round of competition when they were edged by Nadi, 15-14.

The Lautoka/Nadi match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka and a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station Viti FM.
