Lautoka Soccer to have special council meeting
This after Lautoka Football Association suspended 16 of its top players for bringing disrepute in the team.
Fijivillage has established that Samuela Kautoga, Alifereti Balei-loa, Osea Vakatalesau, Ilai-tia Tuilau, Niumaia Tagi, Apisai Smith, Elvin Prasad, Semesa Nakosia, Malakai Waqa, Valerio Nawatu, Leone Vurukania, Jone Vono Jnr, Arvindra Naidu, Marika Madigi, Krishna Sami and Shameel Rao have been suspended from all levels of soccer till the 23rd of this month.
Assosciation President, Shalendra Prasad claims the 16 players did not turn up for a fitness test and added that this sort of attitude will not be tolerated.
Prasad added they will be writing to the Fiji Football Association for a change in registration of players for the BOG.
Lautoka plays its first match against Nasinu in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.
