The Lautoka soccer team has hired former Fiji 7s fitness guru to help them for the Courts Homecentres IDC.

Epeli Lagiloa has been helping Lautoka soccer team players on their fitness ahead of next week's major soccer championship.

Lautoka soccer president Shalen Prasad said they have noticed that in most of their games, their players lacked fitness which resulted in the team's loss.

Prasad said now with Lagiloa helping them, Lautoka players will be and physically and mentally fit going into the championship.

Lautoka plays Vodafone Ba in their opening match on next Thursday at Govind Park.
