The Shop and Save Lautoka soccer team has ended Vodafone Ba's dominance in the Courts Homecentre IDC with a 1-nil win in the final this afternoon at Govind Park to be crowned champions.
Lautoka's winning goal was scored by Malakai Waqa in the 14th minute of play in the second half to end Ba's dream of a 3 consecutive wins.
Waqa said he was happy to score the winning goal.
Lautoka coach Dennis Singh said he was confident his boys will beat Ba in the final.
The sugar city boys had to play with 10 men for most parts of the second half after top defender Peni Finau was red carded.
Lautoka will walk away with the $15,000 dollars prize money.
