Currently referred to as the sugar city, Lautoka is soon expected to be re-named as the Sports City of Fiji.
Speaking to Fijivillage News Lautoka City Mayor Rohit Kumar said they are embarking on changing the image of the sugar city and they have investors lined up to set up sporting facilities like no other in the country.
Kumar also said that investments in the sugar city look promising to help achieve this goal.
