It’s that time of the year again when schools organise excursions and field trips for their students to broaden their knowledge on various issues.

And while many schools choose to visit farms, the museum or have factory visits, Students of Lautoka Central Primary school traveled down from the west today to visit the Prime Minister's office.

Social science teacher Ronald Prasad said the Class 6 and 7 students were out for a one day field trip around Suva and they decided to visit the PM's Office so that the students can learn how the Government operates.

He said the school's visit is to educate students and provide better information on how the cabinet operates and what are the roles and responsibilities of the Prime Minister's office.

After visiting Prime Minister's Office the school would also visit Government House and Fiji Museum.
