The race for the top spots in the Digicel Cup is still wide open and Lautoka is one team determined not to be left behind.

When contacted by FijiVillage, Lautoka Coach Fereti Verebula said they have the players and character to go all the way - especially after holding the capital side to a 28-all draw last week.

Verebula said he was pleased with results and admitted that the Lautoka side had a lot of room to grow – something they wish to do when they take on the ever-improving Naitasiri outfit this Saturday.

The Lautoka/ Naitasiri match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday at the National stadium.

In this week’s Digicel Cup matches: Ovalau hosts Northland at Nasau Park, Nadi meets Navosa at Price Charles Park, Nadroga meet Suva at Lawaqa Park, Tailevu are hosts to Namosi at Ratu Cakobau Park and Tavua meets Rewa at Garvey Park in Tavua.
