The Nadroga 15s rugby team has successfully defended the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy defeating Naitasiri 23-19 at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.
Naitasiri was leading 16-9 with just 10 minutes of play remaining but Nadroga came back with two tries to win in front of their home crowd 23-19.
At halftime it was Nadroga leading 6-3 and the tempo of the game increase in the second half with Naitasiri scoring a try to Jeke Lalai for them to lead 16-9.
It was Nadroga fullback Miti Nacagilevu’s brilliance that brought Nadroga back to the game as he set up two tries to Nemani Nagusa and Paula Karatu.

Nadroga will wait for Nadi in the last Farebrother Sullivan trophy next Saturday.
