Christmas is just three days away and many are trying to beat the last minute shopping rush, by getting theirs done early.
Fijivillage News took to the streets of Suva and asked people what they have planned for Christmas and how they have been preparing for it.
Meanwhile the children of prisoners around the country will have a reason to smile this Christmas, after officers from the Prisons Department received close to 500 gifts today as part of the "Angels in Fiji" initiative.
Post Fiji Manager Public Relations, Merelita Isimeli said the gifts, were collected from the 57 Post Fiji outlets around the country.
Head of the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Services, Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua today collected the gifts from Post Fiji.
The gifts will be given to the Prisoner's children on Christmas Day.
