The 35th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this weekend will be the last chance for players to impress the selectors to force their way into the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the Hong Kong and Australia Sevens.

Although a second string Fiji Babas team lost to the Wardens in the semifinal of the Nawaka 7s, the selectors have not included any new players in their extended group of 17 players with only France based Setefano Cakau the new inclusion.

Coach Iliesa Tanivula used the services of policeman Sakenasa Aca, Apenisa Dralia and Waisale Dau last weekend and will be in the team again for the Marist 7s.

The Marist 7s kicks off on Friday at 9am at the TFL National Stadium, with the winner walking away with $25,000.
