The last two pool games of the first day of the Courts IDC had to be called off last night after the heavy down pour at the TFL Stadium.

Fiji Football Association after consulting with the referee and the games committee then told the Ba and Rewa officials who were supposed to play in the third match that the ground is not in a condition where they could continue with the game.

Both the Ba and Rewa team ran into the field and were called back to their changing room as the referee inspected the ground and decided to wait for another 30 minutes before he will make the decision.

As heavy rain continued at the TFL Stadium, Fiji FA announced to the spectators that the last two pool games will be played in the morning.

Ba coach Farouk Janeman said that he was surprised that it took Fiji FA sometime before they decided to call the game off.
