Former Wallaby Stephen Larkham believes Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie is “rubbing his hands together” as he waits for Henry Speight to become eligible for action.
The Brumbies coach was speaking after Speight’s outstanding performance against the Chiefs, which saw him break the line 12 times.
September 11 is the day the Fiji-born player becomes eligible to play for Australia.
Brumbies Director of Rugby Laurie Fisher also added his own praise toward the flying wing saying he does not want to be tackled and he is outstanding.
He said what Henry has been able to deliver recently is absolutely world class and there is no reason why he would not be producing something similar this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Brumbies will meet the Waratahs at 9.40pm this Saturday in the second semifinal of the Super Rugby while at 7.35pm, the Sharks will play the Crusaders in the first semifinal.
