Overcoming the stigma placed on people with mental problems is the main obstacle Fiji faces in treating those with possible mental problems.
These are the sentiments of the Acting Medical Superintendant at the Saint Giles Hospital Doctor Odille Chang, at the open day organized at the Hospital today.
Dr Chang said with World Mental Day being celebrated today with the theme “Making Mental Health a Global Priority”, she's happy with the large turnout at the open day which shows that more people are willing to learn more about the hospital services.
