Traffic congestion does nothing to a country's productivity and as a result the expansion of the Laqere Bridge will help the economy in the long run.
These are the words of Interim Minister for Works Timoci Natuva while officiating at the ground breaking ceremony for the expansion of the Laqere Bridge this morning.
Natuva said this is part of the major upgrading road construction plans which runs for the next five years.
