The Ministry of Public Works has confirmed the widening of the Laqere Bridge will take two to three months as work on the bridge has started.
Principal Information officer Sainiana Waqainabete said they are trying their best to complete the project as soon as possible as Laqere is the midpoint where traffic comes to a halt.
Waqainabete has urged motorists to drive carefully along the bridge as workmen will be carrying out work on the bridge every night.
