Students and people living in Wainisasa, Baulevu could not go to school or work today after a landslide resulted in the closure of a bridge yesterday.
A resident Nazir Ali said the road has been closed since yesterday morning and since then people could not travel from Wainisasa to town. He said no bus services are operating in the area due to the problem.
Meanwhile, Public Works Department workers are currently trying to clear the road and all motorists have been urged to avoid using the road.
