Landowners are confused at the current stand the Fiji National Provident Fund is taking with regards to the Yatule Island Resort project in Natadola.
This is after FNPF Board Member and Chairman of Natadola Bay Resort Limited, Felix Anthony mentioned that the Fund had an understanding with the landowners.
However, Spokesperson for the landowners, Ratu Osea Gavidi says that Anthony's claims are untrue.
The future of the $200 million Yatule Island Resort project is expected to end up in court as landowners insist that they will not allow the Fiji National Provident Fund to enter their project site.
However, Anthony maintains that FNPF holds 51 percent shares in the project and they do not need a court order to take over the operations.
