Landowners Want Chief, Healer Out
A Tamavua landowner who spoke on conditions of anonymity said the land was given to Ratu Loco to build his house, but not to operate a controversial and self proclaimed church that heals people by giving them coconut oil to drink and urging children not to go to school.
Meanwhile, the Marama Vada who used to operate her healing miracles at the old Phoenix theatre 4 years ago said she would not vacate the land.
When questioned by Fijivillage on the reasons how she heals through the power of coconut oil, this is what she had to say.
The notice of eviction was handed to Ratu Loco this week by Suva lawyer Akuila Naco on behalf of the Tamavua landowners.
Tu Loco claimed that he is a High Chief of the Vanua Mata-ni-kutu and a direct descendent of the Qaranivalu and no one has the power to evict him from that piece of land.
