The landlord who is charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his tenant after a dispute has been remanded in custody.
He appeared in Nadi Magistrate court before Magistrate Laisa Laveti and is expected to appear in court again on 7th April.
It is alleged that an argument developed between the landlord and the tenant after which the landlord got hold of a Cane Knife and allegedly knifed the woman many times on her face, head and other parts of the body.
He also allegedly severed the womans three fingers. He was arrested in Ba on Sunday.
