Police have arrested the landlord who allegedly stabbed his tenant after a dispute on Saturday afternoon.
According to Assistant Police spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu, he was arrested in Ba and is now under police interrogation.
He is expected to be charged soon.
The victim was at home with her 2 and 3 year old children when the landlord came and demanded that they move out of his house.
An argument developed and the landlord got hold of a Cane Knife and allegedly stabbed the woman many times on her face, head and other parts of the body.
He also allegedly chopped off the woman’s three fingers and is admitted in Lautoka Hospital.
