All land line telephone users are being asked to register their phones with Telecom Fiji Limited as soon as possible.
TFL Public Relations Manager and Group Manager Marketing, Vanessa Kilner said customers have to provide photo identification and other requirements as stated in the decree.
Kilner added that that many people have been querying the need to register as they had already done that when they opened up an account with TFL.
However Kilner added that this time around, under the Decree, there is a certain criteria that needs to be met.
Meanwhile, Kilner added that those with Handi-dual sets will also need to come forward and register with them.
TFL started registration late last week with a road show expected to kick start so that their customers in the rural areas will be able to register as well.
At the moment, all TFL customer care centres are open for registration.
