The Land Transport is aiming at getting some of the rural areas which do not have proper transportation serviced by mid this year.
Chief Executive Etuate Koroi said since last year their deregulation plan to get the public to service these rural areas has been positive and they have approved 42 applications.
He added most of these areas are the ones without any or intermittent bus services.
Koroi said anyone can apply to service some of these remote areas.
