Residents living in the Delainavesi and Lami will experience water cuts through out tonight as water upgrading works which were expected to be completed last night is still ongoing.

Water of Authority Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said this includes high areas in Delainavesi, Lami and Veisari.

Nagalu said water supply is expected to normalise by tomorrow morning.

Water Authority of Fiji's Projects staffs are working on a one meter deep trench, from the Delanavesi Road junction across the Queens Road, to allow for the connection of a new by-pass polyethelene pipeline from the Queens Road trunk line to upper Delanavesi.

The Delainavesi Project is part of WAF's Emergency Works Programme to improve service delivery.
