The Lami community will for the first time hold a festival this month.
Committee member Culden Kamea said the festival will be an opportunity for the community to hold a cleanup campaign and help out with the Lami Town Council in improving their towns facilities.
Kamea added the festival will also be in memory of one of the Community's icon, the late Jerry Tikaram.
Kamea added the festival will also have youth activities such as sports and music concerts.
The Lami festival is scheduled to be held on the 23rd of this month at Tikaram Park.
