The Lami Town Council in conjunction with the Fiji Police Force and members of the public are doing their best to keep the Lami town crime free.
While declaring Lami Town "Crime free" today, the Special Administrator for Suva and Lami, Marica Hallacy applauded the efforts of the Police, business houses and youth groups for their continuous support in reducing criminal activities in the town.
Hallacy says there has been a huge reduction in the crime rate in Lami since the crime free program was launched in November last year.
Hallacy added that some of the arrests made during the observance period of crime free Lami town were through proactive approach of the zone members and their teams.
