Former Digicel Fiji Sevens team trainer Epeli Lagiloa will be coaching the Tokatoka Barbarians side for the Uprising International Sevens this weekend.

Lagiloa, who guided Fiji to its first ever Wellington Sevens victory in 2000, will be banking on his experienced players.

Tokatoka Babas will be bolstered with the services of former national Sevens reps Pio Tuwai, Dan Rawaqa, Peni Maka and former Flying Fijian Apakuki Vuaviri.

The Babas face a mammoth task in pool play as they will take on Coral Coast Sevens champion Red Rock, defending champion Wardens and the Aisea Tuilevu coached Yamacia side.

The Uprising International Sevens kicks off this Friday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary of selected pool matches on our sister station Viti FM.
