After failing to claim the Japan sevens title yesterday, former Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua believes the Digicel Fiji sevens team didn't have enough rest.
Tabua said Fiji and Wales played more matches last week than any other teams at the Hong Kong 7s.
Tabua added some players may still be on a high after the win in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have extended their lead at the top of the world sevens series points table with 132 points, South Africa is second with 100 points after winning the Japan 7s while Fiji has dropped to third spot with 98 points after the national side was beaten in the Plate semifinal 21-19 by USA.
Fiji has been pooled with Australia, Argentina and Spain in the Glassgow 7s in Scotland which will be held on the 4th and 5th of May.
