Some of the problems faced by the schools in the rural areas are lack of funding and libraries.
These are the words Viliame Kalotabua, the Head Teacher of Naitasiri based Rara District School who was one of the participants in a Development Seminar held in Nausori today.
Kalotabua said many students face difficulties in understanding English which also makes it difficult for them to understand other subjects adding that they need books to further their knowledge in English.
