Lack of activities in Nausori town was one of the issues highlighted at a meeting between Nausori Chamber of Commerce, Nausori Town Council and Business houses on Wednesday night.
About 45 business houses came together to discuss ways to increase business activities in the town, a town which once held the number two position as the best retail outlet town in Fiji.
Nausori Chamber of Commerce President Moti Lal said during the meeting some business houses highlighted that Nausori town needed more activities in order to increase business.
The meeting was conducted after concerns raised that businesses are experiencing a decline in business, and jobs and investments were at a threat.
