The Labour Ministry has confirmed that they have signed an agreement with the management of Taunovo Bay Resort to pay all the dues for workers in installments.

The Ministry said management has paid $11,000 to the workers last Friday and has agreed to pay $7,000 each week till the 12th of March when all the dues are cleared.

Ministry officials sighted payment vouchers last week to ensure payment was made.

About 80 workers have claimed they were not fully paid by the owners of the resort since October last year.

Owners have assured that they will surely pay the workers.
