Up in the Northern division, we have received confirmation from the DISMAC officer Rudhra Maharaj that the Labasa/Savusavu highway is now closed to all traffic after another landslide at the same location in Seqaqa.
Police also confirm that flood waters have receded in Labasa.
DISMAC Command Centers Pejueli Dobui is urging people living beside rivers and creeks and along the coastal areas to remain on full alert and be prepared if the situation worsens.
