Labasa/Navua Lead Pools After Round 1
The Babasiga Lions head Pool One after beating Nasinu 3-0, Lautoka is in second place also with three points, after their 2-0 victory over Nadroga. Ba is the other team in Pool One which is yet to play a match.
Navua leads Pool Two with 3 points, after beating Tavua 2-0 yesterday, while Rewa and Nadi lie in 2nd and 3rd place when their match ended in a 1-all draw. Suva the fifth team in Pool Two, was on a bye yesterday.
Meanwhile, the BOG tournament officially starts this Thursday at the National Stadium. The opening match will be between Lautoka and Nasinu at 5pm. Then at 6:15pm Rewa take on Navua. The feature match on Thursday at 7:30pm will between Vodafone Ba and Labasa and the last match will be played between Suva and Nadi at 8:45pm.
