A family of Labasa is without their mother today after a 38 year old woman died in a horrific road accident last night.
Assistant Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said three women were in a vehicle driven by a 53 year old farmer when he lost control and the vehicle went down a cliff in Qelemumu.
The 38 year old woman died while two other woman were treated and sent home.
The road death toll is now 39 compared to 28 for the same period last year.
