Labasa soccer fans will not be able to see their team in action unless they qualify for the Super Six playoffs.

The Babasiga Lions have decided to play their remaining seven matches in the New World National Soccer League in the southern and western divisions instead of playing at home.

Fiji FA League board chairman Rajesh Patel said this has also been done to save costs because travelling to the north is expensive.

Patel said Labasa will play two matches a week in the southern and western division rather than having other teams travel to Labasa for just one match.

The lone northern side in the Super Premier division will play Suva tonight at 7:30 at the Post Fiji Stadium and then they take on Nasinu on Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
