Labasa thrash Savusavu
After a 2 all draw with Ba last night the Babasiga Lions came out firing from the opening whistle with Samuela Kautoga opening their account with the first goal in the 18th minute.
Taione Kerevanua increased Labasa's lead to 2-nil in the 26th minute and 3 minutes later, Ilisoni Logaivou scored the 3rd goal for Labasa to lead 3-nil at halftime.
In the second half, Kerevanua, Maciu Dunadamu and Taniela Waqa increased Labasa’s lead to a 6-nil win.
Labasa coach Gurjeet Singh said that to score six goals in wet conditions shows the commitment of his players in trying to win the IDC tournament.
