The Labasa soccer team has suffered a major setback heading into the last round of matches in the Court IDC.
National team defender Taniela Waqa has been ruled out of the Babasiga Lions team.
Coach, Gurjeet Singh said Waqa has left a big vacuum in their midfield area which will now be handled by Pita Bolaitoga.
Apart from Waqa, striker Maciu Dunadamu will also have to miss two matches for Labasa after being shown a red card against Nadi last Sunday.
To qualify for the semifinals, Labasa only needs a draw against defending champions, Rewa at 6.30pm tomorrow. You can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
The semifinals and final will be played on Sunday.
