Labasa soccer team striker, Misaele Draunibaka will recover on time and will be fit for the semifinals of the 2010 Courts IDC on Sunday.

Draunibaka picked up an injury in the final of the Secondary school competition yesterday and did not feature for Labasa against Tavua in the last pool match.

But team President Sheik Ibrahim confirmed Draunibaka is receiving necessary treatment and should be in his best form this coming weekend.

Draunibaka showed glimpses of his late father, Simon Peters when he featured for the Babasiga Lions during the pool matches of the Courts IDC as he was also wearing the number 10 jersey which his late father used to wear.

Meanwhile, the Labasa soccer team arrives at the Waiqele Airport this hour and will go into camp from tonight.

Coach Bal Sarju Reddy said the players will undertake a different set of training run this week which should prepare the boys for a tough assignment this week.

The semifinals and final of the Courts IDC will be played this Sunday at the TFL stadium and the commentaries of all matches with the final of the Premier Division can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
