Crowned as the champions of Fiji soccer last month, Labasa soccer is in deep trouble after getting thumped by Ba by 5-0 and Tavua 6-0 yesterday in the National soccer competition.
This is historic for Fiji soccer as the winner of the Courts IDC is always feared by all the teams but in this case Labasa has done the opposite.
Labasa soccer coach, Gurjeet Singh said most of the senior players may leave the team in the transfer window which opens on Thursday.
When questioned by Fijivillage Sports on the actual problem faced by Labasa soccer, Secretary Mohammed Faiyaz claimed that some officials are not doing their work as expected.
Faiyaz added that the Fiji Football Association should intervene now.
Labasa soccer President, Ajesh Sharma could not be reached for a comment.
