The Labasa soccer team set aside their disappointments and bagged six points yesterday in their National Soccer League match against Suva.

The side who were banking on their under 20 players for their Sunday match were left hanging when the Under 20 players were told to remain in camp despite not having a match at the weekend however they turned the tables on the capital city side.

Speaking after their 1-0 win, coach Bal Reddy said he was proud of their achievement.


Meanwhile, it was a good weekend for the teams from the North as Savusavu also bagged a win beating Tavua 3-2 while the Ba and Navua match was called off due to bad weather.
