Thousands of residents in certain areas in Labasa are currently without water.
Water Department Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said those living in Siberia, Vunivou, Basoga, Vaturekuka, Bulileka, Vitadra, Boca, Urata are without water due to a burst main near the Volanau Reservoir.
Nagalu said their engineers are currently at the site trying to fix the problem adding water supply is expected to normalize by this afternoon.
Nagalu said due to limited water trucks, they will not be able to supply water to the affected areas.
