A strong tremor was felt this morning in parts of Labasa, Macuata and Northern Bua.
The Mineral Resource Department confirmed the tremor read 4.8 on the Richter scale which was located 70 kilometres north of Labasa, 20 kilometres below sea level.
The tremor was felt at 4.15 this morning, however, there has not been any damage of property been reported as yet.
