The Labasa soccer team has extended its lead on the National soccer league points table and now have 21 points after successive wins over Lautoka and Tavua over the weekend.
The Babasiga Lions beat Lautoka 3-nil at Churchill Park on Friday and edged Tavua 1-nil at Garvey Park yesterday.
Labasa will now face Ba, Navua and Rewa in its forthcoming league matches.
Meanwhile, in other National soccer league matches yesterday, Rewa and Navua drew 1-all, Nadroga and Nadi drew nil-all while Savusavu and Suva drew 1-all at the TFL stadium.
