The Labasa soccer team has exceeded its quota of fielding overseas based players in a local soccer tournament, the Courts Homecenters IDC.
The Babasiga Lions have registered four imports, however, the tournament rule only allows three overseas players to be registered.
Daniel Joseph Wilkinson, Christopher Nunes and Wade Michael are from Australia while Vanuatu based Joseph Nimiriau is also in the final 22 list given by Labasa.
Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar said Labasa officials will have to drop one import from their list and this rule was changed a long time ago.
Meanwhile, Labasa Soccer Association president Abinesh Kumar said he was not aware of the new rules but will make a decision by this afternoon as to which player is to be dropped.
The Courts Homecentres IDC kicks off on Thursday in Nadi.
