Labasa soccer team players Taniela Waqa and Pita Bolaitoga helped their PNG club Hekari United side win the O-league match against Solomon’s Koloale FC yesterday by 3 goals to one.
Taniela Waqa scored in the 6th minute and Bolaitoga sealed the match in the second half with 10 minutes left.
James Naka managed to pull one back for Koloale.
The win takes Hekari to four points from their three, Group B matches, second equal with Vanuatu’s Amicale who have a game in hand as they prepare to face group leaders Auckland City on 18th of next month.
