Labasa soccer team continued their unbeaten record in the run in the National Soccer League competition after they proved too good for the capital city side Suva, beating them 3-0.

Suva soccer president Mahen Prasad has earlier indicated that the Babasiga Lions will go down, however this was not possible as the visitors showed they were better than the Suva side.

Labasa's goals came from Mikaele Draunibaka, Joseph Nimariau and Thomas Vulivuli.

In other National League games today, Navua was held to a 2-2 draw by Nadroga at Lawaqa Park and Rewa walloped Nasinu 4-1 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
