It will be a Labasa and Rewa showdown in the final of the 2015 Vodafone Fiji Fact.
Rewa and Ba played a grand game in the second semi‑final with Rewa getting a 3-2 win.
The winning goal for Rewa was scored in the last minute of the extra time by Shalvin Prasad who booted the ball on the roof of the goalmouth.
Rewa took the lead in the 9th minute of the first half when Epeli Saukuru scored.
Alvin Singh equalised for Ba in the 43rd minute of the second half.
The match was pushed into extra time and Ba looked comfortable and scored through Malakai Rakula after a defensive blunder by Rewa.
The Delta Tigers did not lose hope and Zamil Hussein scored through a long range kick in the 14th minute of the first extra spell.
Everybody thought the match will go into penalty shootout as Ba and Rewa were locked 2-all, but Rewa had other ideas and Shalvin Prasad scored Rewa’s winning goal after receiving a well‑timed pass from Jone Kaloutani.
Rewa Team Manager Vikash Prasad said they have a fair idea of how Labasa will approach the final.
In the first semi‑final, Labasa made a great comeback against Lautoka and won 3-2.
Labasa coach, Bal Sanju Reddy said he is happy with the team’s performance so far.
